 The way the sentence is written implies the greater demon is Zargoffelstan instead of Tom.

                It does indeed seem that way.
 Typical T-A-G, can't transcribe anything I say properly.  I swear he's worse than a Dragon, naturally speaking.
 
 Of course, to be fair, I've never found dragons to speak particularly naturally.
 
 Going to create a list of updates and corrections that need to go into books during next update.
